“Technology is changing quickly, and keeping up can feel overwhelming. I started AkoNav to make AI and digital skills easier to understand and more useful in everyday life and at work. I also want to help people stay safe online and prepare for recognised certifications that can create new career opportunities.”
AkoNav brings together Midhun’s Indian roots, his life in New Zealand and his passion for teaching and learning. Ako, from te reo Māori, means both teaching and learning. Nav comes from the Hindi word नव, meaning “new”, and also represents navigation. Together they describe what AkoNav is for: discovering new knowledge, navigating a changing digital world, and moving confidently towards new opportunities.
